Questions

How is my P&L calculated?

From your fills. Closing fills are matched to opening fills first-in, first-out. Fees on a closing fill count against that trade; fees on an opening fill are split across the units, so the part for units you have closed is counted and the rest stays with the open position. Each fee is counted once.

Does it show unrealized P&L on open positions?

Only when there is a real market price for the position. Without one, Valenso says there is no price rather than guessing.

Can I journal options?

Yes. Record the underlying, call or put, strike, expiration, number of contracts and multiplier, and every opening and closing fill.

Does it connect to my broker?

Not yet. You enter trades yourself for now. Broker imports are on the roadmap.

Who can see my trades?

Only you. Each account's data is isolated at the database level, so other users cannot read it, and we never sell your data.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Download all of your trades and fills as a CSV file from the Journal at any time.

What does early access cost?

Nothing. Everything in Valenso is free during early access, which is open to the first 200 traders. No card is needed.

What happens when early access ends?

Paid plans will be $5 a month or $55 a year. We will email you well before anything changes, and you will never be charged unless you choose a plan.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings and choose Delete account. Your account and every trade in it are removed permanently.

I can't sign in. What should I do?

Use Forgot password on the sign-in page to get a reset link by email. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then contact support.

Is this investment advice?

No. Valenso records and summarises what you did. It does not recommend trades.
